What this site is
Editorial content about fountain pens, ink and paper, written for people buying their first setup. It is information, not professional advice, and it is not a shop — we sell nothing and hold no stock.
Accuracy
We compile published manufacturer specifications and cite them, and we mark figures that makers do not publish rather than estimating them. Even so, specifications change, manufacturers reformulate products, and listings are edited. We do not warrant that every figure here is current at the moment you read it.
We have not hands-on tested the products we write about, and we say so on every page that recommends one. See how we choose for the method and its limits.

Prices displayed here come from a live feed and carry the date they were checked. They are indicative only. The retailer’s price at checkout is the price that applies, and we have no control over it.
